GIGI x CLICHE x KID JERF

Gigi Z. and I had a joint effort that took place at Cliche Minneapolis. I had the pleasure of displaying some of my artwork; six screenprints including three new ones.

Six models were chosen to showcase clothes that were not only from Cliche but also were interpretations of the six prints I had on display. Gigi did an amazing job styling:

Eleza | Chasm

Yasmin | Coven

Tasha | Lust
Gigi | Deckay

DJ Jim Frick (of WAKLYF) was also nice enough to spin for the show.

All photographs by the visionary SERENESUPREME.

Thanks to everyone who came out & was involved!
My pieces will be up through November so if you missed the opening night feel free to stop into Cliche anytime in the next month or so!

Sun Mountain

This is a piece that I made a while ago, which will tentatively be used for a pal's album artwork, but for now I just had it printed on canvas.

Solitary Winter

Hello, I'm back. This winter has been weird.

My roommate, Tim Hohn, is an awesome photographer. He and I were picking and choosing some of his photos that I could use for a collaboration. We chose a lot of rock formations and I started playing around with them.

It evolved from this compilation of four photos:

Into this:

If someone were to release an album called "Solitude", it would be great if they contacted me. I know just the cover to use.

A. Leo Collab 1

I recently had the proposition to collaborate with a photographer I know in Chicago. She was open to any interpretation that I could think of involving of her photos, so it has been a very open-ended & as-of-yet ongoing project.

This is a simple illustration I did of one of the photos she lent me:

I am playing around with creating a more photo-manipulation oriented piece using her photos as well, which I'll post at a later date.
