As stated in my previous post, a lot of the images I make go through a long process of changes before the final product. Sometimes they are minor changes. Sometimes they are major. This is an example of the latter.

Taste
This is just a post out of boredom.
A lot of the time, when creating something, I make dozens of iterations of a piece just to more easily visualize the possibilities of an end product. Here are two early (read: far cry from final product) iterations of a piece I'm currently working on.
I'll be sure to come back eventually with the final product. These are essentially just proverbial thumbnail sketches of digital imaging. A byproduct of processing my way to a final composition.

Everybody 8
So I make this mix CD every winter and summer and hand them out to worthy music fanatics. Just kidding I give them out to basically anyone. If you want one let me know. I said I'd send a lot out in the mail to all you out-of-towners, but please remind me. Here is the cover & tracklist I designed for the latest one.

Solitary Winter
Hello, I'm back. This winter has been weird.
My roommate, Tim Hohn, is an awesome photographer. He and I were picking and choosing some of his photos that I could use for a collaboration. We chose a lot of rock formations and I started playing around with them.
It evolved from this compilation of four photos:
Into this:
If someone were to release an album called "Solitude", it would be great if they contacted me. I know just the cover to use.

Dear Design
It's been so long, I know. And I've been so tired. It's not that I don't love you, Design, it's my job. My new job is taking up a lot of my time. Design, please don't leave. Look, remember this? We made it. Together. Remember this summer when we made this?
Wasn't that fun? We were going to make this into a screen print, Design. You and me baby. We even made a second iteration, that we liked better.
Since we both love sludge metal. Remember listening to metal music together, Design?
I know it's hard to get used to me being gone, Design. Don't think you're not always on my mind. How could I forget about you? I'll be trying to come around to visit you more often, darling Design.
You'll always be my one and only.
Please don't swear at me like that.

Foolish November
Hello ladies & gentlemen. This is a poster I designed for the Foolish Bastard crew of MPLS fame. The concert is sure to please, check it out Nov. 30th if you're in the dinkytown area. As per directions from 1990 himself, I went for a real "euro" vibe with a trashy spin.
Here's an inverse version:
