A flyer I designed

Gigi X Cliche

Long time no see, right? Anyways, I threw together this flyer for an event my friend is hosting at Cliche in Minneapolis. If you dig female fashion, you should check it out. Short notice (it's tomorrow!) but I'm satisfied with the way the flyer turned out.

Handwritten Notes

  I don't know.

I always get these strings of words stuck in my head and I feel like they should be manifested somehow. "Handwritten Notes" is one of those said strings.

Maybe someday if I start a correspondence with someone after I'm famous, I can make this a cover of a short book or something. Or something.

The Toxics

I want to be in a punk rock band. I already made our first single cover. 

Second Iteration

Just joshin'. 

I made up a band name etc. because I like to use text in designs. Picture, if one of my designs were a room, type & font would be the proverbial rug that really ties said room together. Without that "rug", something would just be missing, Dude.

Stamp & Post

I made my own postcards for various uses (thank you, invitation (?) whatever really.) Here's all I did:

Second times the charm: I forgot to make the image an inverse of the intended final product.

Crude, I know. The paper is fancy though?

Repeat!

It was a fun project, definitely, but there is no room for perfectionism in stamp making. Straight, consistent lines are tough. Not bad for something I've only done a couple times before, if you ask me.
